Gov. Hochul likely to clash with Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani over bill banning protests near synagogues, other houses of worship

Hochul, asked by reporters about the protests at Park East Synagogue Thursday, said she was supportive of an idea pitched by some pols to restrict protests in the immediate vicinity of houses of worship.
